Blackpool and The Fylde College is backing the Blackpool Gazette’s ‘Grin and Wear It’ fund raiser, in aid of Brian House and Trinity Hospice.
Staff and students are invited to dress down or dress up on Friday 14 February in return for a donation to charity (suggested donation £1, but whatever you can afford will help!)
This is the Fylde Coast’s biggest ever dress down day with schools, shops and offices all getting involved. It’s part of the Blackpool Gazette’s Hospice Heroes appeal to raise £200,000 to help pay for a massive refurbishment at the Bispham-based charity.
Trinity’s fund-raising manager Linzi Young said: “Whether you spend the day in jeans instead of a suit, or in a onesie instead of your uniform, it will help raise money for the Hospice Heroes appeal and make a massive difference to our patients for years to come.”
- Collection buckets will be situated at reception in each main campus on Friday 14 February
- Donate online at www.hospice-heroes.co.uk
- Text the word HERO followed by the amount – ie £1, £2.50, £5 or £10 to 70080
Don’t forget to tweet @b_and_fc your pictures on Friday – we’ll share the best ones!
