GDPR - Withdrawal of Consent for Processing Personal Data
by Moodle Support - Wednesday, 16 May 2018, 10:14 AM

Why we process your Personal Data

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018 says B&FC can process your personal data for specific reasons. Where we do, the reason(s) were explained to you when we originally captured that information.

Some reasons we process your personal data are

  • So we can register you with an awarding organisation to claim your certificates
  • to ensure your health, safety & wellbeing whilst you are studying with us

We may also wish to process your personal data for a reason that is not listed in the GDPR. For example, to include your feedback in our promotional materials. Where this is the case, we need your consent.

When you give consent for us to process data, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. If you wish to withdraw your consent, you must use this form to let us know.

Volunteering opportunity: Calling all B&FC HE students
by Moodle Support - Thursday, 26 April 2018, 4:28 PM

We are running two World of Work days at Bispham campus on Tuesday 15th May and Wednesday 16th May. The workshops will be aimed at preparing current level 3 students across a number of curriculum areas for their work placements next year.

If you have experience in the world of work, an interesting education or career pathway, or are simply looking to build your CV, we are asking you to attend the workshops as an alumni volunteer. Whatever your experiences are, they can inspire current students as they build key employability skills.

What will you get from this?

  • The opportunity to give back to your college and inspire other students
  • Improve your CV
  • Valuable volunteering experience
  • The opportunity to get a reference

Get in touch with Kathy Seddon at for more details.
