Do you know someone who wants a career in nursing, paramedic practice or in the health sector?
by Moodle Support - Wednesday, 18 January 2017, 2:54 PM

You can sign up now for this course and study in March 2017 for a diploma in Access to Higher Education Health Care Professionals. This course is designed as a stepping stone to university and allows you to study for careers in nursing, paramedic practice, occupational therapy and midwifery.

This is a 12-month course, that on successful completion, supports application to do a degree in one of several health related disciplines, either at B&FC or another higher education institution.

Help with funding might also be available depending on candidates’ individual circumstances, via funding waivers or an Advanced Learner Loan. Currently for fee-paying candidates who go on to successfully complete a degree course, the Access to Higher Education fees may be refunded.

Candidates will need to have 3 GCSEs or equivalent qualifications, including maths or English.

The course starts on Monday 20th March and attendance is on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9am till 4pm at the University Centre.
